Description

The Baby Incubator concession on the Pike at the Louisiana Purchase Exposition -- the 1904 World's Fair -- served as a fair attraction and a working hospital. The Baby Incubator concession demonstrated the new technique for the care of premature babies. Premature babies from St. Louis hospitals were brought to the concession for care. No. 3581.
