Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Manuscript annotated on recto, with "126" in pencil above Pierpont's salutation to Garrison.John Pierpont writes William Lloyd Garrison at the direction of "Brother May" concerning the invitation from May to "be present and say something" at the celebration of "West India abolition". Pierpont asserts that "Deo Volente", he will be present at the event.
