Original program for films shown the week of April 13, 1941 at the Strand Theatre in Ipswich, Massachusetts. This is a special Easter Greetings edition, and the cover features an advertisement for the April 13 screening of The Bad Man. Wallace Beery, Lionel Barrymore, and Laraine Day star in this western about a bandit named Pancho Lopez.The second page includes an advertisement for the April 14 and 15 showings of The Sea Wolf. Edward G. Robinson and Ida Lupino co-star in this drama about a writer and two fugitives given refuge at sea.Page three features an advertisement for the April 16-18 screenings of Road to Zanzibar. Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, and Dorothy Lamour star in this comedy about two pals stranded in Africa.The final page of the program is dedicated to a double feature screening on April 19. Golden Hoofs is a comedy starring Jane Withers, Charles Rogers, and Kay Aldridge. The second film is The Phantom Submarine starring Anita Louise, Bruce Bennett, and Oscar O’Shea. This mystery follows the story of a sailor in search of the steamship Arcadia’s sunken gold.Currently not on view
