Description
Holograph, signedDr. Taft's office was broken into and several boxes filled with items for the Boston bazaar were stolen. The police want Samuel May and someone connected with the anti-slavery fair to identify some stolen goods which might have been taken from Dr. Taft's office. The suspected thief is a recent "graduate" from the state prison and saw Dr. Taft "& spent much time in his office. Possibly he may have been there, when your packing, & c. was going on."
