The chairman of a citizens' group formed to protest the location of a state convict camp for African Americans in Botetourt County, Va., speaks regarding a meeting between a delegation from the group and Virginia Governor J. Lindsay Almond. He reports that the governor seemed receptive to the group's concerns and expresses his hopes that the group's proposals for the relocation of the camp will be given careful consideration.
