This is a collection of miscellaneous materials related to the Canton and Fourth District COFO offices in Mississippi, mostly from 1965. There is a memo about regular tasks to do and things yet to be done in the Canton COFO office. Questions about the structure of racial inequality in Mississippi. A list of telephone numbers for civil rights workers and offices and transportation services. A memo outlining the staff members of the Canton office, who reports to whom, and what their responsibilities are. A map of Dearon's Farm where Freedom Registration was apparently to take place. A description of the functions of the Fourth District COFO office. An alphabetical list of topics on which information available in the District Office files. Charley Horowitz's document called "Minimum Needs of the COFO Communications Staff in Jackson." District Office ideas about research that could be done. Part of a Freedom House's daily log.
