Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Catalog card says this letter is incomplete and no known author, however after viewing the handwriting, I have determined it is written by Richard Davis Webb and the letter was written in 1851, not 1857 as it is written on the catalog card.Richard Davis Webb writes to Mary Anne Estlin regarding his communication with Miss Follen. He writes of plans with other abolitionists during their stay in London. He writes of his daughter visiting Chesterfield to see Crystal Palace and his desire to see the Crafts. He writes of Eliza Wigham's character. He writes of Mary Anne's father, John Bishop, and his involvement in the Christian Union. He begins to write on the subject of Quakers but the letter is incomplete.
