Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Charles Dexter Cleveland writes to Amos A. Phelps to discuss various matters related to the antislavery cause, including the statement in Torrey's case that Phelps is supposedly preparing, fundraising, a circular about the German [Anti-Slavery?] Almanac (which Cleveland says he is enclosing), and the probable results of “the Assembly.”
