Donated by the Metropolitan Council for Educational Opportunity, Inc. records.Sometime during the 1960s, NBC had plans to air a documentary entitled "Ordeal of the Cities" that would talk about, in part, the black community in Boston. However, many community leaders felt during filming that the documentary did not have its best interests at heart and released this statement denouncing the project.
