Holograph, signed.Title supplied by cataloger.May states on the second page, "I close my note at Leicester, whither I have just returned."May tells Webb that Dr. George Barrell Cheever, Reverend A.B. Bradford, Reverend Dr. Beriah Green, and Reverend Daniel Worth spoke at the annual meeting of the American Anti-Slavery Society in New York. Worth had just been released from a North Carolina prison, having been convicted of circulating Hinton Rowan Helper's "The Impending Crisis of the South."
