Description

Letter from Charlotte Cowles in Farmington,Connecticut, to her brother Samuel Cowles in Hartford, Connecticut. Charlotte collected the petitions which have 178 signatures; some were from people who couldn't sign before, like Mrs. Martin Cowles. She asked her brother to get her a cravat to give to Elizabeth Porter; she also mentioned that she would pay him back for the things he has purchased for her very soon.
