Description

"An Act For the relief of Austin, otherwise called Austin Dabney, a Free Man of Color."Austin Dabney, an African-American slave who joined a Georgia regiment and was severely wounded during the Revolutionary War, was granted a fractional lot of 112 acres in Walton County in 1821 by the Georgia General Assembly in gratitude for his service to the state.
