Description
Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.P.H. Jones writes William Lloyd Garrison concerning the "tender and beautiful memorial" written in honor of Helen Garrison's passing. Jones remarks that while Helen's character itself merited "the most exalted remembrance", her relation to Garrison's "eventful and remarkable life" makes this especially so. Jones asks Garrison to pass along his thanks and rememberance to his children Francis, William, and Fanny. Jones expresses her pleasure in having learned through Miss Anthony of Garrison's restored health and comfort.
