Mary Farquharson was a State Legislator, a civic leader and Christian pacifist. Her papers document activities of Caucasian-Americans who did not agree with the policy of evacuating the Japanese-Americans to relocation camps during World War II, and who worked in aid of the evacuees as well as correspondence with Japanese Americans in the internment camps.
