He tells May that he has heard that Julia Griffiths is "making no headway in Scotland." Pillsbury refers again to the letter written by Lajos Kossuth denouncing the abolitionists and says that George Armstrong declined to forward the letter to him. He reports that his health is improving and asks that "The Liberator" be sent to James Tunny of Edinburgh
