Description
Holograph, signed.A Major Colthurst wants William Lloyd Garrison to read his journal of experiences in the West Indies with a view to publish them in America. Richard Davis Webb tells in detail about the care taken in sending a box (which has apparently not arrived). He intends to send a copy of a letter from William Goodell, which Richard D. Webb would like to see published in the Standard with notes by Wendell Phillips. Thomas Moore is in poor health; Richard D. Webb has had no reply from him. Richard D. Webb has "begged on all hands" for the Liberty Bell, with little success. He summarizes the ideas expressed in William Goodell's letter. He inquires about George Bradburn and regrets that "he is not at one with you."
