It was postmarked on Aug. 19 in Worcester, MsIt is stamped, "PHELPS MSS."In this letter to Amos A. Phelps, Alanson St. Clair discusses the plans for the upcoming county convention. He then talks about the possibility of working for the antislavery cause fulltime, perhaps for the American Anti-Slavery Society, in the upcoming winter during which he would be out of employment. In the postscript note, he mentions the desire of women in his region to invite the Grimk©♭ sisters to the county meeting
