Dr. Herbert S. Goodloe was born on October 30, 1900 in West Virginia. He was the third black dentist to practice in Toledo. In this interview, he discusses the barrier that race proved to be in establishing his business. He also discussed his memories gathered from over fifty years of living in Toledo. Dr. Goodloe died on October 10, 1985 in Toledo.
