Description
Reverse reads: "Richard Toler 515 Popland Cincinnati. O" Richard Toler was born in Virginia. He learned blacksmithing as a slave, and he earned his living as a blacksmith for 36 years after emancipation. Toler later became an accomplished fiddler, and wrote a well known slave narrative.
