Smith, Benjamin Eugene

Description

This folder contains more correspondence having to do with lawyers' efforts to get all the documents from arrested civil rights workers (some of whom had left the state on bond and some of whom were in local jails) that were necessary to file motions and petitions, particularly those for removal of their cases from state courts to federal ones. There are also some handwritten notes regarding the cases.
