McCormack informs Christopher J. Gorringe that he would be inclined to go along with the attached at no charge and explains that he will do so if he does not hear anything to the contrary. Attached is a fax from John A. Levinson to Peter Smith indicating that he received an urgent request for Arthur Ashe footage from Wimbledon to be used in an ABC AIDS special called a "New Light" to be aired this summer. The purpose of the program is to increase public awareness about AIDS and encourage volunteerism. Levinson describes what the footage would be and asks Smith to advise at his earliest convenience as they will be editing shortly.
