Description

From Dr. Lederer's text: These photographs are segregated in the back of 'Greene County Honor Roll,' a subscription book depicting Springfield, Missouri's participation in the war at home and overseas. The number of pictures of black soldiers does not reflect the number who served. Note the officers and the officer trainees at Wilberforce University.
