Folder contains reports pertaining to the work of the Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools for Negroes to assist African American secondary schools in receiving Southern Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools approval. The ACSSN worked with secondary and post-secondary schools to achieve educational standards set forth by the Southern Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. The Division of Negro Education in the Department of Public Instruction within the State of North Carolina forwarded the recommendations from the ACSSN to the SACSS as the approved intermediary between the organizations.
