It was postmarked in Boston on Nov. 15After criticizing [the Massachusetts Anti-Slavery Society] for waging a war against [the Massachusetts Abolition Society] and not cooperating with [the American Anti-Slavery Society], Amos A. Phelps tells James Gillespie Birney that Birney ́must not faiĺ to visit Massachusetts in December to attend the large meeting the [Boston Female Anti-Slavery Society] is organizing for Birney and to use that opportunity to advertise their fair to the public. Phelps says it is important that the fair goes off well
