Holograph, signed with initials.William Lloyd Garrison was greeted by Thomas Chandler, Dr. Owen, and others on his arrival in Adrian, Mich. He addressed a large audience. He is staying with Dr. Owen. He received a letter from Helen Eliza Garrison and was pleased to get news of the family. He sympathizes with Ellen Wright Garrison (Mrs. William Lloyd Garrison Jr.) in her suffering from neuralgic attacks. William Lloyd Garrison had interviews with Rev. Duffield and others concerning the National Freedmen's Aid Commission. He discusses his receipts and expenditures. Garrison names the other lectures and theatrical performances that were held on the same night of his lecture.
