Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Manuscript annotated on recto with "127" appearing in pencil above Naish's salutation to Garrison, and "Garrison MSS." stamped in blue ink under date.Manuscript dated "3 / 11 mo 1846".Arthur John Naish writes William Lloyd Garrison on the eve of the latter's departure for his "own native land of wonderful anomalies", and sends Garrison his best wishes and regards for his journey. Naish states that it has been a "great pleasure & a great honour" to have hosted Garrison during his stay in England, and expresses his hopes that he will see Garrison again in the future in Europe.
