Description
A green "lamp shade" style hat designed by Mae Reeves. The body of the had is constructed of diamond shaped knots of light green raffia, which are interlocked with openings between the knots. On top of the hat and around the brim the spaces are open but on the crown of the hat there are three bands of cut shear silk woven through the openings. The three bands are light tan (top), dark green (middle) and dark tan (bottom). A label for Mae's shop is sewn to the interior back of the hat.
