Ottawa University, Gangwish Library: The Pi Kappa Delta Collection; This issue is in excellent condition. The original cover was removed for binding. The issue begins with an article entitled; "Greetings from Yankton" which concerns a new PKD chapter that on February 17, 2019 was installed at Yankton College, Yankton, South Dakota. The new chapter will be designated South Dakota Gamma. The rest of the article content concerns information about the new chapter; the installation ceremony was performed by Iowa Delta member Lee Saltow, there are twenty-four members in the chapter (lists the members), forensics is "thriving" at Yankton (p.1), and following the ceremony a banquet was held in the Yankton Congressional Church. The following toasts were offered: 'Welcome to Pi Kappa Delta" - President H.K. Warren, Response - Lee Saltow, "Our College in Debate" - Coach V.C. Montgomery, "Our College in Oratory" - Professor E.H. Durand, "The Future of Forensics" - Marie Donough, "And so Forth" - Harry A. Robinson. This article is followed by an editorial which explores a remark made to the editor, 'We don't seem to feel that we are part of a national organization.' The editor notes that the remark was made by a young woman '...a bright and enthusiastic member of one of our strongest local chapters'. The editor proposes three methods in which to "...promote that broader feeling that sense of membership in a growing progressive body..." (p. 2).
