Letter, dated June 17, 1799, written by Indian agent James Seagrove from the military post at Point Peter, Georgia to James Jackson, Governor of Georgia. In this letter Seagrove informs Jackson that he has enclosed copies of his recent communications with Creek Chief Methlogee and that he has also sent copies of these papers to the President and to Major General Pinckney in Charleston.
