Holograph, signed with initialsWilliam Lloyd Garrison thanks Oliver Johnson for the card photograph. Garrison will attend Oliver Johnson's "next 'Progressive' [Friends] meeting at Longwood." Gerrit Smith and George Washington Julian declined William Lloyd Garrison's invitation to speak at the annual meeting. He suggests Samuel Aaron as a speaker. Wendell Phillips must give an address at the meeting. Garrison comments: "I am sorry and surprised that Mr. Frothingham so underrates his admirable performances."Accompanied by an envelope with the delivery address: Oliver Johnson, A. S.
