Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Manuscript annotated on recto, with "From Elizabeth Pease (fragment)" in black ink on top-right margin of page.Manuscript is incomplete.Elizabeth Pease Nichol assures William Lloyd Garrison that her devotion to the abolitionist cause is not in proportion with the relatively scarcity of her correspondence, and rails against the "Slave Power" dominating American society, and against the Fugitive Slave Act in particular.
