William Lloyd Garrison tells about his social calls on acquaintances. The weather has changed from sultry warmth to chilly damp, with steady rain. Garrison thinks that George William Benson's family will go to Chelsea; he wants to accommodate them while they get their house ready. Garrison feels uneasy about his unpaid bills.
