Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Emilie Ashurst Venturi writes to William Lloyd Garrison saying that since she "cannot join the women who are met to do you reverence", she is with him "at least in spirit as one of the most loving and reverential of your friends." Ashurst writes she hopes that "God may grant to me, in the next stage of our existence, the high and valued privilege of meeting you, [Giuseppe] Mazzini and others worthy to be near you and inexpressibly dear to me."
