Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Elizur Wright Jr. writes to Amos A. Phelps regarding the executive commitee's decision to send Phelps to D.C. to "set on foot petititions to Congress from the inhabitants thereof." He lays out a course of action to be taken by Phelps. He writes about "some slaveholders in this city have advertised a public meeting next week to take meanness to put a stop to Anti-Slavery! An inspiring movement!!"
