Description

Holograph, signed.William Lloyd Garrison writes that he is unable to visit Providence this season; he may come in the spring. He has received from Washington the complete files of the African Repository and is preparing an anti-colonization pamphlet for the press. An anti-slavery society is forming in Boston. He advocates for a concentration of moral strength---not physical force. He will send his thanks to Simeon Brewer for the offer of hospitality.Merrill, Walter M.
