He's singing something about his big boss, Mr. Hays Sullivan. Chanted, I want to tell everybody, with guitar An' I don't want to tell 'em nothin' wrong, chords at Ef you want to live at Burdette, ends of You got de place of your own. lines. 'Cause you can walk up to Mr. Hays Sullivan, I don't care ef it's snow on de ground. He'll put food in your house, An' he'll fix a place for you to lay down. Now, you know a man like dat He can't be beat. 'Cause we'll work for him any day An' when he at home in de bed asleep.
