Interview with musician and Albany, Georgia native Ray Charles accompanied by a photograph of him sitting at a piano and smiling. He faces forward.Charles describes performing the song "I Got a Woman" in 1954 at an Atlanta, Georgia radio station. He notes that it was a successful song and one of the first "crossover" songs for the band. Charles also recounts that the disc jockey was required to stop the band during recording so he could announce the news once an hour. The interview is followed by an excerpt of Charles's song "I Got a Woman."
