Holograph, signedTitle devised by catalogerManuscript is dated "10/4/63"Abby Kimber writes Richard D. Webb with her account of the wedding day of James Miller M'Kim's daughter, Annie. Kimber states that it was a beautiful and joyous occassion, that that their spirits remain high in spite of the war. Kimber recounts that several of the groomsmen were members of the Massachusetts Colored Regiments, and that Lucretia Mott "beautifully reminded the young people of their duties to those who had been oppressed". Kimber copies for Webb a letter written by Mary Grew to James Miller M'Kim, which was read at the ceremony
