Description

Letter from Charlotte Cowles in Farmington, Connecticut, to her brother Samuel Cowles in Hartford, Connecticut. The house is being painted and white washed so Charlotte has not had time to write. They received a letter from Thomas (the slave they helped escape north). Charlotte will make the collars as soon as possible.
