Description
A man is behind Brown, trying to help him stand. The concert also featured the Famous Flames, Bobby Byrd, and Elsie Mae ("TV Mama"). The performance was covered in an article ("James Brown Turns Them On" by Viola Bradford, September 11-12, 1965) and photo spread ("The James Brown Show," September 25-26, 1965) in The Southern Courier.
