Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.L.L. Jameson writes to William Lloyd Garrison in regards to her husband's military court-martial and subsequent presidential pardon. Jameson bitterly complains that the details of Major Jameson's conviction were published in the press before they could relay news of his pardon, and of the "terrible military tyranny" to which they have been subjected. Jameson expresses her regret at having left the company of Mrs. Garrison so suddenly.
