Holograph, signedOnly a fragment of this letter remains. It was written by Joseph Ricketson and presumably addressed to Deborah Weston. Ricketson concludes the letter by commenting: "I shall not have time to write about the slave woman & child consigned to me---her story is a long one---she seems very bright & is now very cheerful."
