After reading "The Souls of Black Folk", Hayford, a West African lawyer, writes to suggest the exchange of thoughts between members of the African race in America and those in West Africa. Hayford notes he has forwarded his most recent book, "Gold Coast Native Institutions'" and "Africa and the Africans" which he wrote the introduction. Sent to Du Bois in care of A. C. McClurg & Co., the publishers of "The Souls of Black Folk"; sent from Axim, Gold Coast.
