Description

The Citizens' Council was the official publication of the Citizens' Councils of America. The masthead features the following slogan: "Dedicated to the maintenance of peace, good order and domestic tranquility in our Community and in our State and to the preservation of our States' Rights." The paper was published in Mississippi, and it's executive board included members from the state councils of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
