Description
Leonard Chase writes in his letter to Lewis Tappan that he has obtained the name of the young lady "who took such lively interest in the Mendians at Nashua [New Hampshire]. Her name is Sarah Spaulding." Chase mentions that he would appreciate news about the Amistad Captives.
