Description

Holograph, signed.Caroline Weston sends "45 pages of journal." She heard from Warren Weston. She mentions Henrietta Sargent's letter to Mary Clarke. She gives some family news about Deborah [Weston?] and Lizzie Chapman. Garrison wants Mrs. Maria W. Chapman to "make out the exordium of his speech at the Sabbath convention." Samuel May's father died. "I hope poor Mrs. Alcott will now be relieved from the suffering to which she has been subjected for so long." She urges Maria and Henry to avoid any place where there is yellow fever. She says there are big celebrations tomorrow. She sets down her observations of the church affair. She wants Maria and Henry to read the Emancipator and the Mass. Annual Report.
