Description

Video of the 1990 North Georgia Folk Festival in Athens, Georgia. The video shows festival-goers and folk artists, including blacksmiths and basket weavers. Musical performers onstage are audible in the background. A musician is interviewed about playing the pan-flute, and a crafts person demonstrates doll-making. Performances by blues musician Precious Bryant and a bluegrass band are shown in the second half of the video. The annual folk music festival is organized by the Athens Folk Music and Dance Society.
