McDaniel, Hugh Adams, and James Maloy.General John Murray Corse (1835-1893) was a brigadier General who served in the Union Army during the Civil War. He is most remembered for his defense of the Allatoona Pass in October of 1864, despite being wounded and facing superior numbers.
