Donated by Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción.This project was partially funded with federal assistance from the Institute of Museum and Library Services and administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.Two men perform capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian martial art disguised as dance that originated with slaves. Spectators line the ledges along the edges of the plaza. This performance is one of the many events at Festival Betances, the oldest Latino community arts festival in New England.
