Phelps, Lewis Tappan expresses his approval of Phelpśs last letter. He discusses matters related to running the American and Foreign Anti-Slavery Society, and the recent development with regards to the Union Missionary Society. He suggests that Phelps work as the editor of the "Reporter" or Secretary of American and Foreign Anti-Slavery Society
